Privacy policy

Information we collect

We may collect a waitlist email address and language preference; checkout name, email, Kuwait mobile number, delivery address and order notes; order and fulfilment records; safe payment references and statuses; customer communications; and limited technical information needed for security and reliable service.

We count visits to our own pages so we can see which pages are read. Each visit records the page address, the time, and a code made from your IP address and browser using a secret that is replaced every day and never kept. The code cannot be turned back into your IP address, and because the secret changes daily it cannot link your visits from one day to the next. We do not store your IP address for this, and no cookie is used. This counting does not identify you and is not shared with anyone.

When you allow optional analytics and advertising, Google Analytics 4, Meta and TikTok may receive public-page visits, referral information, product views and shopping actions, product identifiers and names, quantities, prices, shopping values and currency, event times, browser and device information, IP addresses and cookie or advertising-click identifiers. Meta and TikTok may also receive confirmed-purchase information from our server as described below. We save your tracking choice using a first-party cookie and a related consent record.

How information is used

Information is used to operate and secure the storefront, manage the waitlist, process and fulfil orders, coordinate delivery, verify payments, provide support, handle returns and complaints, prevent abuse, maintain business records and comply with applicable obligations.

With your permission for optional analytics and advertising, we also use information to understand how visitors use the storefront, measure product interest and shopping actions, measure advertising results and help improve advertising. Advertising providers may use event and identifier information to match website activity with users of their platforms and improve ad delivery.

Payments

Payment is completed through Tap’s hosted service. Solittari receives and stores transaction references, amounts and payment statuses needed to administer an order, but does not collect or store the customer’s full card details.

Service providers and disclosure

Information may be shared as needed with providers that support hosting and security, payment processing, delivery, email and customer support, and with professional advisers or competent authorities where lawfully required.

When you allow optional analytics and advertising, we also share measurement information with Google Analytics 4, Meta and TikTok. For confirmed purchases, Meta Conversions API and TikTok Events API may receive product identifiers, quantities, item prices, total, currency and event time. Meta may receive the order reference. TikTok receives a conversion identifier used to avoid counting the same purchase more than once. Google Analytics 4 receives public-page and shopping-intent signals in this setup; it does not receive confirmed-purchase reports from our server.

Meta may also receive customer name, email, phone number, governorate and country as hashed values to help match the purchase with a platform user. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers may be sent when available. TikTok's purchase reports may include IP address, browser information and a valid TikTok ad-click identifier when available; they do not include customer name, email, phone number, delivery address, order reference or an external customer identifier. This purchase reporting takes place directly from Solittari's server, with the consent checks described below.

These providers may process information in other countries. Their handling of information is also described in their own privacy policies.

Cookies and similar storage

The storefront uses essential cookies or similar storage for functions such as the shopping bag, language choice, payment continuity, security, protected administration and saving your tracking choice.

Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel remain off until you select Allow optional tracking in Optional analytics and advertising. If you allow them, these services may use cookies or similar identifiers to recognise a browser and measure visits, product views, items added to the shopping bag and the start of checkout on public storefront pages. Meta and TikTok may also receive reports of confirmed purchases directly from Solittari's server.

We send these server purchase reports only for orders created while you had allowed optional tracking, and only while that saved permission remains valid. We check the current saved choice before later or repeated reporting attempts. Orders created without that permission are not reported later merely because you subsequently allow tracking. Allowing tracking again after a withdrawal does not restart reporting for earlier orders.

You can choose Essential only and continue shopping, or change your choice through Optional analytics and advertising. Once a withdrawal is saved, it prevents further optional reporting by these three integrations, including new server purchase reports for orders linked to that choice. This preference controls Google Analytics 4, Meta and TikTok. Changing a choice does not remove information already received by a provider.

Retention

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including order fulfilment, customer support, security, accounting, dispute handling and applicable record-keeping obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type.

Security

Solittari applies reasonable technical and organisational controls intended to protect information, including restricted administrative access and secure hosted payment. No online service can promise absolute security.

Customer questions and requests

A customer may ask about, correct or request deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and any lawful requirement to retain records. A request will not affect information that Solittari must keep or process for an ongoing order, dispute, security matter or legal obligation.
